I AM  a student of life, and do my best to practice my truth everyday. I AM a healer at heart and have always been. I seek to raise the vibration within myself thus, raising the vibration of the life force that surrounds me. 

I am also a registered nurse, doula, reiki master, mentor, yoga teacher, and founder of Cariñosa Oil Blends and Remedies.

Along with my husband, we are raising two teenagers and three fur babies. Family life is fast and busy with teens, we do our best to slow down and connect as often as possible.

After more than two decades of caring for birthing families as a Labor and Delivery Nurse in Los Angeles County, I retired my orange clogs and scrubs in 2021. During this transition I turned inward—deepening my connection to energy medicine and spirituality. 

In 2023, I completed both levels of A New Earth’s Movement Mentorship Program, a profound journey of inner work and reflection that rippled into every corner of my life—relationships, career, and sense of self—all shifting in beautiful ways. Through this mentorship, I learned to take responsibility for my responses, hold space for myself, and support others on their transformative journeys.

Inspired by this path, I embraced the roles of reiki master, mentor, and yoga teacher, with an enduring passion for education at my core. My healing journey—guided by mentorship, Reiki, and yoga—awakened a clear calling: to learn deeply and share these gifts, supporting others on their personal path to meaningful change.

After several years of ongoing deep healing and transformation, I’ve found myself returning to my original passion: supporting families during the tender moments of birth and new parenthood. I now work as a midwife assistant, in the home birth setting alongside a Ventura County midwife—a role that has rekindled my spirit and sense of purpose.

Cariñosa OB+R, my wellness business and apothecary began with blending essential oils and working with plant medicine to create offerings for self and home care. Reiki and mentorship soon were added to the menu of offerings. I’m so thrilled to share that Cariñosa OB+R now offers postpartum doula support to families with newborns and young children. It’s an honor to serve my community in a way that feels so grounded, balanced, and heart-centered.

Life has shown me that even through the challenges, detours, and discomfort, there is always a path back to love. Cariñosa OB+R was born from that understanding.
